Celebrating Success! A Look Back at 2014

The incredible milestones MyFitnessPal users reached this year

Dear MyFitnessPal Users,

When my brother Albert and I started MyFitnessPal 9 years ago, we couldn't have dreamed things would turn out as they have. This year, we were humbled and fortunate to hit some exciting milestones as a company: the community reached 75 million users, our food database exceeded 5 million items, and you all logged 14 billion foods.

We're thrilled by these milestones, but we're truly delighted at the success YOU, our users, have achieved with the help of our apps. With over 175 million pounds lost (and counting, fast!), we wanted to take this moment to say thank you so much, and to share some incredibly inspirational stories of your fellow MyFitnessPal users, the goals they have achieved and their journeys to living healthier lives.
