As the resident user insights researcher at MyFitnessPal, I’m constantly poring over our database looking for clues about what helps and hurts our users’ progress toward their health goals. To kick off this month, here’s one of my favorites:

MyFitnessPal members who connect their accounts with another fitness or health app are nearly twice as likely to lose weight as members who don't.

Connecting your accounts means critical data from those apps, like calories burned, gets automatically updated to your MyFitnessPal app—so less work and more insights for you!
